Our consultant : : Dr Antonio Bechara ( from Lausanne)

We are very pleased that Dr. Antonio Bechara, currently trained as an ophthalmologist at the Swiss Visio Center in Lausanne (Clinique of Montchoisi from Lausanne), has agreed to be our consulting physician and advisor. He recently participated in the Eye Camp 2021 in November in the Solukhumbu district in Népal, in the valleys around Everest with the cooperation of our NGO and our local partner, NGO "Vision Together Nepal" of the Nepalese optometrist Mr. Sakar Subedi who is well experienced in Treks & Treat. In the future, we plan to organize more medical camps all together such Trek&Treat , which is a new concept we developed in Nepal in order to allow tourists helping while trekking. It is thanks to our cooperation with the Genolier Foundation of the Swiss Medical Network Group that we have been able to get in touch with Dr. Antonio Bechara (as volunteer) Thanks to his extensive knowledge of medical and ophthalmology and his many experiences in humanitarian missions abroad, he will be able to advise and inform us about the real and adequate needs to organize our future ophthalmology camps in a more optimal way. He also visited the ophthalmology department of the Kathmandu University Hospital - Dhulikhel. We sincerely thank him for his time and investment during the last "Eye Camp 2021" in the remote areas of Solukhumbu. We are looking forward to organize another eye camps for 2022 and 2023 !
